  1. I was there, poor man was unresponsive, my heart goes out to the family. I did not see the actual insident occur but I hope they catch whoever is responsible. I don’t think too many people really saw what happened and if they did they sure didnt stick around… You are as guilty as the person who struck him!

  2. I BET also it was Pennsylvania plates, My car was in a hit a run accident by you guessed it Pennsylvania plates with no licence either, and when they caught him they did not lock him up they gave him a court date and of course he did not show up, and the punishment was that his licence was suspended! and now he is working for (moderated) !

  3. dear num 1 sorry 2 say but 9/10 times a “person” w/penn plates will stop! “They”, are trying 2 be citizens, don’t always be quick 2 judge when you don’t know! I have been living in this town for years now, and can honestly say the worst drivers in this town have NJ plates!!

  4. #1 If you feel the need to make stupid remarks like that keep them to yourself. We should be thinking of the person and there family and hoping they recover. No matter what plates were on the car this is trajic and could happen to anyone.

  5. my car was hit by a car driven with penn plates .they fled the scene and werent caught.besides the damage to my car and my shoulder they could have hurt pedestrians when they ran thatlight.they are a danger that has to be stopped

  6. 9/10 times a PA plate driver will run on foot leaving the vehicle behind.
no prints on record, so we cant catch them.
The next day he’s picking his new name out of a hat: juan, julio, pablo, henry, adalberto; – tough choices.

  7. id bet my savings on them having NEW YORK plates…i have seen more ppl with NEW YORK plates with banged up cars than ones with PENNSYLVANIA plates.

  8. to #5 you might be right that jersians are horrible drivers but they will stop in case of accidents –not run away because of the fear of being locked up because they’re illegals

  9. I think TLS is supplying a much needed therapeutic release for so many people who need to vent. An episode occurs and before you know it all the cranks come out of their underground holes and debate the most nonsensical issues, and with gusto no less. Thank you TLS for giving all above commentators an avenue to release their pent up tensions. At least you keep them off our NJ roads.
