  1. Wash hands frequently.
    Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth.
    Stay home when you are sick.
    Cover your cough with elbow or tissues,
    Keep your distance from others.
    Irrigate your nose. Xlear nasal spray is a good brand. One study found that people who did preventative daily nasal irrigation had significantly fewer episodes of upper respiratory symptoms, shorter symptom duration and few days with nasal symptoms compared to those who did not do so.
    Have food and spices with antiviral properties – coconut oil, raw garlic, oregano, ginger, kimchi, walnuts, pomegranates, green tea, apple cider vinegar.
    Eat lots of colorful fruits and vegetables.
    Stay well hydrated.
    Eat fermented foods – sauerkraut, pickles, miso, kefir, kimchi, kombucha.
    Avoid simple sugars and unprocessed junk food – they lower your immune system.
    Get fresh air and moderate daily exercise.
    Get adequate sleep.
    Minimize stress 🙂
    Take vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc., fish oil.

  2. We all know that shutting everything down will stop the spread of this virus. We also know that lowering speed limits will save lives, yet we don’t lower the speed limit (unless your Deblasio). The reason for this is because the solution should be proportionate to the problem, it doesn’t need to nuke the problem, especially when nuking the problem creates many more problems. Instead of telling us to shut down everything, why don’t they give us real facts of who is really at risk and how to deal with those risks. We heard enough conflicting opinions, now it’s time for facts.
