  1. To I’LL ASK AGAIN you really don’t desrerve an answer as you clearly are ignorant and shouldn’t be commenting if tou don’t even know that jersey shore has a very good trauma dept.

  2. don,t you see the blue signs on the highway with arrows to the regional trauma center ? They are pointing to jersey shore medical center!

The question of higher rate is ludicrous, would you prefer staying at some hicktown hospital or fly out? its a higher rate!

Lastly, hatzolah of lakewood must be complimented on the amount of mileage they put on just for transporting to the best care. It’s not new york city where the top hospital is not crazy far from any given point. They’ll transport to the city, to CHOP, to anywhere the care would be more appropriate. Kudos to the members for their time, care and patience to do lengthy transports

  3. are you ALS OR EMS.

IF ALS IS NEEDED THEN ITS USUALLY TRAUMA= JERESY SHORE -ONLY TRAUMA CENTER IN AREA.

IF ALS IS CALLED AND THEY DONT TRANSPORT TO J.S. THEN ITS USUALLY NOTHING TO BE DONE AND THAT IS NOT A GOOD SIGN>

  4. i hope to g-d that if g-d forbid harm came to any child that you have an opportunity to help money would not be an object. side point dont be concerned with how a life saving organization treats their patients.

  5. JSMC is the regional trauma center when it comes to serious injuries..however KMC is getting better with children services..however they still have a ways to go …

  6. People need to watch their speed and what is around them where they are at. Lakewood has become a super speedway no matter if you are in a neighborhood or on a street like New Hampshire Ave. No one cares about anything anymore..and when something happens you look to blame everyone else..by saying “where are all the police at when things happen?” Its time to start taking responsibility for your actions..WAKE UP

  7. To #2 – when my 5 year old son was hit by a car back a few months back (and thankfully was able to get up right after) Hatzolah – who was next door and saw what happened said that when there is such a trauma they must take to a certain level hospital (maybe level 4) which is a trauma center and Jersey Shore is the closest.

It should NEVER be your kid – but you would want a complete and thorough check to make sure everything is okay and there is no internal bleeding.

Baruch Hashem my son is fine, is really was such a chesed!!!! May we only hear good tidings!

  8. I almost get hit by people carelessly shmoozing on the phone and tearing out of parking spaces at breakneck speed. Message to Lakewood…get off the phone and slow down!!!
