VIDEO: A father and young child are lucky to be alive today after their vehicle rolled down the embankment at North Lake Drive a short time ago. Witnesses tell TLS they saw the car veer off North Lake Drive between Forest Avenue and Case Road – in front of the GCU – and rolled several times before coming to a halt on its roof, just feet away from the Lake.
The car landed on the jogger’s trail, which is approximately 100 feet off the road.
Officials say the father and child were both utilizing their seatbelts at the time, and escaped with minor bruises.
The vehicle reportedly experienced a mechanical failure moments before the crash.
Hatzolah transported the two to Kimball Medical Center. TLS-94/TLS-89/TLS-55/TLS-50/TLS-00/TLS-CCP.
seatbelts save lives! good thing they were wearing them saved this family from what could have been a very sad day for them !

It happen to me too skid off the road and I crashed in to a tree and someone saw me and called Hatzaloh and then they called the Police and tow truck came and towed me and they charged $200.00 it was very unfair for the Hatzaloh to call the Police I would called AAA on my own… It happen Long time ago the facts is there is leaves and dirts on the road… It caused slippery situations…

Not that this is the situation here, but I see cars swerving off lake drive all the time and they are usually going WELL past the 25/35 limit
To #6 If you do in fact have AAA then you just submit them the towing bill and they will reimburse you.
To #8 I highly doubt all the way charged $100 as I have been towed from the roadway by him before and it costed me more than double that. I think he should submit a list of his prices to the oilem just like the police do you know whatnthe maximum he can charge you is.
Everyone should keep all emergency numbers on your cell phones.
The party from the car didn’t have hatzolahs number and called 911 right away. Also put chaveirim and lcsw in your contacts as well

you sound like another towing company. for #1 you seem to be educated in AAA #2 how many people know or see any charges posted by the police towing. and at last we all know it isnt true that he would charge anyone like you claim, he has always had the best rates. and where do you expect him to post his rates exactly ? stop hiding behind the curtain and post your towing companies name like a man
Yo mordekhai #6 or watever you have no right to be upset at hatzala they are required to notify police when they respond to a call.
If you are involved in an accident it’s the LAW to notify police
To accurately report this incident you must make the correction that the vehicle “allegedly” experienced mechanical problems as there is no evidence to prove either way…

I am living in AZ and see the beatuy that these people were saved and fine. Who cares about the money for towing, be greatful to hashem that they are alive and well and think about how bad it could have been and what that would have cost if Hashem wasn’t with them.
