COL: Investor’s Bank Foundation presented Chesed of Lakewood with a $2,500 grant in recognition of the vital work they do helping Lakewood families in desperate straits.
The grant will be used to support some of Chesed of Lakewood’s numerous programs, including the newest “Dress Your Best” which encourages patrons of clothing stores to donate a small amount with each purchase. This money allows Chesed of Lakewood to purchase clothing for some of the many families on their roster, allowing them to hold their head high and dress with dignity even as they navigate multiple crushing crises.
“We are extremely grateful to Investors Bank Foundation for their generous donation expressing their empathy for the plight of so many wonderful families in our midst,” says a Chesed of Lakewood coordinator. “We also would like to warmly welcome Investor Bank’s new Lakewood branch manager Jill Hitchens.”

there is no organization like chesed of lakewood in the world. The amount of chesed and the way they do it is unbelievable this is one of those who do a lot and don’t talk about it. Every thing is confidential and thy are not looking for credits. May many more businesses fallo this bank and support such a great organization. Im not sure what surprises me more, the fact that Investors gives so much to the community orginizations or that all the other big national banks give nothin, zip, zero, zilcho. Jog a thom got it right, btw, I once spoke to R’ Wenger about some of the work he does, its amazing, if not scary – ppl getting evicted, ppl w/out heat etc etc.. Keep up the good work !!
Investor’s Bank is the most magnanimous bank this town, and possibly any town, has seen – thank you Investor’s for partnering up with the worthy organization Chesed of Lakewood whose team members tirelessly work to reach out and plan and coordinate numerous functions to help the less fortunate – with your funding they can bring it all to fruition!
