Chaveirim Holds 2011 Raffle

Chaveirim raffle 29VIDEO: Chaveirim last night held their 2011 raffle, picking the winners of a men’s package and a women’s package. The women’s package, was won by Shloime Blasbalg (sold by Chaveirim members Uri Halle and Sruly Dorfman), and the men’s package was won by Shimshie Williger, (sold by Chaveirim member ‘Ace’ Klughaupht).

The funds raised from the raffle enable Chaveirim to purchase new equipment to further assist the community. The cost to properly equip a Chaveirim is upwards of $2,000. Additionally, new equipment is constantly needed, due to the wear and tear.

Chaveirim respondse to an average of 100 calls per day. TLS.

  1. “Hatzolah, memeila -theyre saving lives!!!” but WHO would ever think people would volunteer and take up so much of their time to change YOUR flat or help YOU with any of the other wonderful services chaveirim offers in 20 or even 100 degree temp?????????? – ALL FOR FREE!!!! THANK YOU CHAVEIRIM AND ALL YOUR DEDICATED MEMBERS!!!!! (btw hatzolah is also a wonderful organization as well)

  2. thanks to Chaverim (all cities included!) i am still chugging around!!! so many times also I locked my keys in the car and they come with a smile, get them out, and then disappear before i can thank them…!!! I am happy you pushed off the raffle so i had a chance to send in the envelope that came in the shopper before it was too late!!!!!
