With the upcoming Chai Lifeline Lakewood Dinner on July 19th, parlor meetings are being hosted in various neighborhoods to benefit Chai Lifeline of Lakewood.
Chai Lifeline is a vital organization servicing our kehilla, coming to the aid of hundreds of families who are R”L facing medical crisis and difficult chronic illness. With every patient and their family’s welfare in mind, Chai Lifeline finds ways to bring joy and hope into their lives through creative, innovative and effective family-focused programs. Crucial emotional, social, and financial assistance is provided assuring that no family in our community will ever have to shoulder the burden of illness on their own.
The parlor meetings will commence with a reception tonight, Wednesday, June 15th at 7:30 PM, by the home of Shalom Stein, 1 Truman Ave in Presidential Estates. All are invited to partake in the event.
Upcoming meetings will include: Monday, June 20th at the home of Aron Stern, 27 Tuscany Terrace; Wednesday, June 22nd at the home of Shauly Wolhendler, 11 Devash Court; and Thursday, June 23rd at the home of Joe Neuman, 11 Walker Drive. Additional events will be held in Chestnut, Brookhill, Beacon Ridge, Westgate and other areas.
The presence and support of every individual will greatly enhance the impact Chai Lifeline has on the klal, and will be a tremendous source of chizzuk for those faced with medical challenges beholding other community members being “nosei b’ol”.
