CDC tracked phones to see if Americans followed Covid lockdowns | Yoel Ackerman

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention tracked millions of Americans’ phones to see if they complied with lockdowns and vaccination efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic. The CDC would use location data from the phones to see where people went.  The data also showed movement during curfews and visits between neighbors when people were encouraged to stay home, practice social distancing and avoid social gatherings

Data broker company SafeGraph initially provided the data to the CDC for free during the early months of the coronavirus pandemic. In 2021, the CDC paid $420,000 for continued access to the information. The data that was provided to the CDC showed minute and exact details such as insights related to age, gender, race, citizenship status, income, and more. The CDC has even publicly stated that they want to continue using the information for more than pandemic monitoring, such as tracking population migration before, during, and after natural disasters and researching visits to parks and gyms for interest in exercise and chronic disease prevention.

SafeGraph gathers its data by licensing anonymized data from mobile devices showing where users live, work or travel to. SafeGraph has had its controversies as Google reportedly banned all app developers on its Play Store from working with SafeGraph in June 2021 after critics raised privacy concerns.

Meanwhile the CDC is defending itself, claiming that no individual person was tracked but rather groups of people were tracked and the data was more generalized.

  1. BTW…. non-profits and Gov agencies still may not necessarily have to pay for SafeGraph. Anybody could buy it. All sorts of companies use it, like realtors and insurance companies.SafeGraph just aggregates, packages and resells free data that is publicly available. Two days ago, after the SCOTUS leak, they stopped providing data locating abortion services. Otherwise, it’s all there anyway, for a price.

  2. When you wake up in the morning, kindly pick up the phone and say “Good morning CDC, I would like to wish you and the rest of our country lots of good health”.

  3. All the Dems want to do is spend money.

What, the NSA budget is not enough? Oh, I forgot, they don’t exist but somehow they spy on all of us recently crowned as domestic terrorists.

If CDC paid full price, which I doubt, that would be at the minimum, 4200 people! I don’t believe that for a second. It was more like at least 42000 and likely 420000 or more.

I expect serious Blowback (like the “summer of love” last year) as now it is all over the MSM.

    • Let me clarify. The Blowback will be because of the deletion of “Women’s Health Care” locations, due to the SCOTUS leak. Perfect timing I might add….. it’s all a connected False Flag PsyOp so the left prepares to riot.
