Caught on Door Cam: Thief Wearing Amazon Vest Steals Package from Doorstep in Toms River

As first shown last night on TLS Status, a Toms River resident’s door cam captured the theft of multiple new iPhones.

The resident tells TLS she had five new iPhones delivered to her door via FedEx, but when she couldn’t find the package, she reviewed her cameras.

The video shows a man wearing an Amazon vest delivering a box and taking the one containing the iPhones delivered minutes earlier.

The box delivered by the alleged thief, contained trash.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.

  1. It was pretty clear that it’s not a real Amaozn delivery, since he didn’t take a picture after. It’s probably not an actual Amazon delivery driver altogether, since they don’t usually carry fake trash filled boxes. It’s likely an ex Amazon delivery guy who still has his vest, or a guy who bought it off the someone with the plans to thieve.

Any footage on the vehicle they came or left in?
