A road rage incident in Lakewood turned violent Friday afternoon, with one man arrested after allegedly attacking another driver and knocking him unconscious.
The incident happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. on New Hampshire Avenue near Route 70.
TheLakewoodScoop.com has obtained exclusive dashcam footage of the incident, showing the moments leading up to the confrontation and the two drivers getting out of their vehicles. The situation quickly escalated, with one driver attacking the other and knocking him to the ground.
A witness tells TLS that the alleged aggressor appeared to be in his 40s, while the victim appeared to be between 60 and 70 years old.
The victim sustained a head injury and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
As earlier reported, the suspect was arrested at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
