Car Stolen, Crashed Minutes Later in Lakewood; Suspect Flees [PHOTOS]

A vehicle stolen shortly before 8:00 p.m. was crashed moments later at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Clover Street in Lakewood, narrowly missing a fire truck too.

Following the accident, the suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large.

Firefighters got out of their truck to check on the victim of the other vehicle.

No serious injuries have been reported at this time.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Lakewood Police Department.

Baruch HaShem no one got hurt.
The car looks like an old Chrysler. Why would anyone steal that? It’s got very little resale value and its parts are worth nothing as there are almost none of those left on the road. But in Lakewood you don’t ask questions!
