The Chosson from London who was viciously assaulted in Lakewood early yesterday morning suffered a fracture among other injuries, a family member told TLS.

In addition to the swelling and black eye, the beating left the victim with a fracture underneath his eye, the family member says, and remained in the hospital for nearly eight hours. He was released before Shabbos.

A resident from the area where the attack took place tells TLS he heard screaming during the attack, and also spotted a vehicle leaving the scene.

Meanwhile, police are continuing their investigation into the attack, and are reviewing surveillance footage from the surrounding areas, sources tell TLS.
