A fire broke out in a Lakewood home today, destroying the home.

The fire broke out in the Ocean Avenue area home shortly before 2 AM.

Dozens of firefighters battled the blaze for approximately two hours.

One minor injury was reported at the scene.

The Red Cross was called in to assist with approximately 10 people displaced from the home.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
