BREAKING VIDEOS: Family displaced, firefighter injured after fire rips through Lakewood home

A fire ripped through a Lakewood home this evening, leaving a family displaced and a firefighter injured. 

The fire broke out at the Hackett Street home at approximately 7:30 PM.

Officials say 7-10 people were displaced, and Red Cross was being called in.

A firefighter suffered non life-threatening burn injuries and was transported to the Burn Center in Livingston, officials told TLS.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

  1. I hate it when they feel the need to provide every sordid detail in these stories!! Like for example, who’s business is it anyway that the fire was in Lakewood?! Why can’t they omit the minor details and leave just a tiny bit for the imagination…
