Lakewood police are investigating tonight after multiple people checked themselves into Monmouth Medical Center – Southern Campus with stab wounds.
Sources tell TLS the incident may have been the result of a road range incident.
Police have set up several crime scenes around town, and are being assisted by the Ocean County Prosecutors office and CSI.
At least one victim was being transported by helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson hospital in New Brunswick due to the severity of his injuries.
No suspect is in custody.

I’m wondering how much time they will serve after they get out of the hospital. We also get to pay their medical bills.

I agree, but I’m also familiar with non-driving situations of otherwise calm and nice people who have been taking advantage of for long periods of time until they finally exploded (from having been stepped on for so long). The Lakewood driving attitude is a big Lifnei Iver situation.
Even a generally calm person may eventually crack under the pressure of people abusing their right to drive and of people taking advantage of them on the road day in and day out when they just want to drive and get somewhere in one piece. People can explode if they get taken advantage of all the time and they keep saying nothing. Maybe this was this guy’s moment.
