A Frum Lakewood woman walking near Lake Carasaljo this evening, was assaulted, sources told TLS.
At approximately 6:30 PM, the woman was walking with a friend along a footpath on North Lake Drive, when a man on a bike approached from behind, a witness and an LCSW coordinator said.
The man then allegedly knocked one of the women to the ground and proceeded to grab her before fleeing the area, the coordinator said.
Police and LCSW were called.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, wearing all black.
LCSW says they are stepping up surveillance in the area.
i live on north lake this is not the first time such an incident occured

Similar incident happened on south lake drive in recent weeks as well. Be safe when walking, even during daylight hours

2- at the North lake should continue and finish the sidewalk that missing for 3/4 mile!! Men and women don’t have to go all the way down and not be in vision = safety
