BREAKING: Authorities Locate Body in Rubble of Abandoned Structure Destroyed in Lakewood Fire [PHOTOS]

A body was found inside the abandoned structure that burned down last week, TLS has learned.

After the fire broke out at the Chestnut Street structure, authorities searched the premises in search of any potential victims. The initial search came back with negative results.

However, sources tell TLS police received a call from a friend of a homeless person who stated they haven’t heard from a party since the fire, and they know he frequented that location.

That’s when multiple agencies began searching through the rubble using body-sniffing dogs and other equipment.

A short time ago, authorities located the body of a deceased person, though the identity has not yet been confirmed.

An investigation is underway.

  1. What is the likelihood the victim started the fire by using an unsafe method to keep warm which then ignited the inferno which ultimately ended his own life.
It’s sad, but it’s a reality that many homeless folks do stuff like that
