Authorities this evening are investigating another shooting at the same location as last night’s shooting, sources tell TLS.
The shooting occurred at the apartment complex at the intersection of Cedarbridge Avenue and South Clover Street shortly before 6 p.m.
At least one shot was fired, sources say, but there were no reports of anyone or any homes struck by the bullet.
It’s unknown if it’s connected to last night’s shooting.
An investigation is underway.

All this violence is getting out of hand innocent people’s lives are at risk especially young children they don’t need to be surrounded by all that I lived in Lakewood all my life and I never seen it get this bad something’s gotta be done this ridiculous .
No reports of anyone or anything hit?? So how do you know if it was gunfire and not fireworks??
Time to bring the FBI In to Lakewood to investigate the crime situation and send soldiers to protect Lakewood 24-7
if you don’t want to be in the middle of the violence move out of the ghetto! DUH!!
Call and write your legislators and DEMAND they pass the Citizens Protection Act bill S1287!
I beg to differ with #1. When I came to Lakewood 24 years ago, weapons and drugs were much more commonplace in Lakewood than they are now….if anyone remembers “The Budget Inn”, or the slum motel that stood where the Lakewood Courtyard is today. Drug busts, shootings and more were the order of the day.
#3- The FBI has no jurisdiction unless requested by the local authorities which carries its own politically charged problem. The military is prohibited by the Posse Commitatus Act from acting as police. The Governor commands the State’s National Guard but save for natural disasters, it would take an extraordinary circumstance for them to be deployed.
