[COMMUNICATED] We are Bnos Hadassah, a girls’ elementary school in Lakewood, New Jersey, established with the guiding principle of giving over a true chinuch B’Derech Yisroel Sabbah. Founded only 7 short years ago, with 26 pupils in the Kindergarten and Primary grades, we now boast 299 talmidos in the Kindergarten through 6th grades (with parallel classes in the Kindergarten through 2nd grades), bli ayin hora! The chiyus that is felt, the warm atmosphere that Bnos Hadassah is renowned for, embraces you as soon as you enter the building. The gaily decorated hallways beckon, and the sounds of happy chatter and joyful song surrounds you as you enter the magical place 299 fortunate talmidos are privileged to call their “home away from home.”
As the explosive growth continues, Bnos Hadassah finds itself at a crossroads. Classrooms bursting at the seams, we have long outgrown our original starter building, as well as the rental facility we currently occupy. While we are so very grateful to the Ribbono Shel Olam that we have been zocheh to such tremendous growth, every square inch of our current space is utilized and maximized, and unfortunately, the quality of learning is greatly compromised as a result. Tutoring takes place in the hallways, lunch is eaten in the classrooms, and there is but a tiny sliver of shared outdoor space that serves as a temporary playground of sorts. Yet space constraints must not be allowed to impede our progress! We have been fortunate to acquire a parcel of property upon which we hope to build a school that can comfortably accommodate our burgeoning student body, be’ezras Hashem.
Details please!
The information here is very vague. Where is this school located? who does it service? who runs the school?
Also, “bderech yisrael saba” is a very vague description of the chinuch they strive to provide.
I send my daughter there. It’s a wonderful school that caters to a frum mix of chassidish/yeshivish/heimish families. They look out for the best of every single student and push the girls to achieve as much as possible in a no pressure environment. They are an amazing school!! They are currently located on Lehigh avenue but need to buy their own building because they’ve outgrown the rented one they’re currently in. It’s a great cause!
R’ Chaim Blum runs the school. It’s a wonderful school, with a very strong emphasis on Simchah! They strive to provide a very positive atmosphere, so the girls don’t even realize how much they’re learning!!! I’m proud to be part of it.
The school is BH a fabulous place for our girls. We’ve been here from the first year and couldn’t be happier. Mrs. Leiser and the rest of the staff are so warm and caring, our daughters are BH thriving! Please help us raise the money!
