Between 500-2,000 Without Electricity In Lakewood

[UPDATED] Between 500 and 2,000 residents are without electricity this morning, according to JCP&L. The areas affected include the 14th Street area, Route 9 and Kennedy Boulevard and surrounding areas. In Howell, between 2,000 and 5,000 are without power. Police in Lakewood and Howell are directing traffic at intersections on Route 9 in Lakewood and Howell.

It’s unknown at this time what caused the outages.

UPDATE: 11:35 AM. Power has been restored to most residents.

Lakewood Resident…Moshe in the spirits of the holiday offers to chip in (maybe to help direct traffic…help ppl who have no power with other things…) And you have to knock him?
