  1. This is terrible, terrible news. Chaim a”h was my Classmate through all of elemenatary school, in Be’er Shmuel, then, again, for a few years in Yeshiva South Fallsburg, then, yet again, at R’ Shmuel Miller’s zatza”l Yeshiva, on Ave. P – at that time. He was, by far, the most popular guy wherever he went. He was a maasive ba’al kishron, always very quick and very funny. He also had a heart of gold. Everyone simply loved him.
In this past year, nebech, he lost both his parent to Covid & his wife to cancer.
    And now this.
And who knows what’s with his daughter, Malka Bas Sara Rochel, & his son-in-law, still missing in the collapse.
It’s mamesh a tragedy upon tragedy upon tragedy.
Chaim a”h had no siblings. If you can learn one mishna or do 1 mitzva for Chaim ben Yitzchok that would be a tremendous z’chus for his neshama & at least something good will come out of this tragedy.
Please also have in mind for the zchus of Malka Bas Sara Rachel.
May we only share Besuros Tovos.

  2. Reb Dudi, let’s not forget that Chaim a”h spent the summers with us too at Camp Adas Yereim. He was just the nicest kid back then. And he grew up to be the nicest guy. May he be a meilitz yosher for all his old friends.

  3. Ave L and East 22nd street in Flatbush. Rabbi Weinfeld’s shul 10:00 Friday morning. That’s the info I got but pls double check.

  4. Hi Duddy,
Yea thanks for posting on behalf of all of the classmates from yeshiva and camp mates of Adas Yereim.
I have such great memories of Chaim! Chaim was a great kid
with lots of positive energy and a nice welcoming smile!
