Bachur Mugged In Broad Daylight

LPD small LPDAt approximately 2:30 p.m. yesterday, a Bachur walking to a friends home for a meal, was mugged by three black men. It occurred on Westwood Avenue, off Nowlan, when the Bachur was approached by the three men and asked him for his money. When the Bachur replied that it was his Holiday and he doesn’t carry any on him, they replied with a curse. No weapons were shown and the Bachur managed to escape without harm. The Bachur told TLS he plans to make a police report this evening. Sources tell TLS that the men are renting a home from a Frum Yid in the Negba area.

  2. happens all the time on Yom Tov. They finally figured out not to mug people on Shabbos because we dont carry money. Someone has got to give them a Jewish calendar so they will know when Yom Tov is!

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with renting a home to these types of people . just by the way who was living there first as far as I know the frum people moved into these neighborhoods after they were living there for many years . its not the owners responsibilty to sell the house / livelyhood that he has b/c they moved in

  5. SOORY GUYS. THE BRILLIANT GANG MEMBER TRIED THIS SHABBOS AFTERNOON. THE FIRST DAY OF YOM TOV.
    HE THEN WAS SEEN HANGING OUT IN FRONT OF 5 WESTWOOD “THE DRUG” STORE.

  6. last year i pressed charges from a hot headed teenager who deiced to airborne his bike into our playground which is off westwood. he came in a hit me pushed me….

    his father begged for me to drop the charges as his sons was being influenced by the gang memebrs of 5 westwood.

    i refused to drop the charges as there were many other incidents from this teenager and family before 5 westwood became bad.

    its already over a year and i have not been notified of any update with the filed complaint. I have reached out to the askanim and even the PD to find out what happened but i still not heard a word. maybe if they read this blog i will receive an update to my filed complaint.

    the PD requests that all incidents be reported – which is important for them to know were to fgocus and beef up patrols. yet they must respond properly and arrest the criminals who start out stealing bikes/scooters and later graduate to mugging, drugs and murder . they simply take a report and if they find the bike they just return it without arresting the person for stealing or simply receiving stolin property. if the criminals would know they woulld be arrested they might think twice before stealing bikes.

  8. to #6 you are absolutely right. unfortunately, PD needs a major improvement in this area of both protocol n standards in enforcement and in victim relations. my guess is ur not someone too important that the media would spotlight for the PD to be busy with. since lately that seems to be the sole motivation in this town. Laws and Justice is now considered old school, now its Politics and Power, so there!
