  1. Yes a shove can be assault on an officer. The headline Assault makes for more drama or was he shoved to the floor? Also can monmouth south campus handle that or does he/she need to go to jersey shore medical?
Also a description might be helpful locating them, male or female that did the shoving? Maybe thin enough to out run couple officers?

  2. #1: A shove IS an assault as you said. So the headline is correct. Also, two other crimes or more were committed by the person fleeing, especially if he’d already had a felony conviction or two. He’ll be in custody in a matter of days.

  3. The article clearly stated a male answered the door and was the one who shoved the officer. A description would help but probably was not released to TLS

  4. Hey Zev, who said anything about a felony? Your right the headline is correct, to attract readers it has to sound a exciting. It’s called journalism.

  5. That’s funny cause that’s not how it happened at all. Maybe Lakewood scoop should check their spires of information. No officer was assured. Lakewood scoop should get the real facts before you post a story. That’s what’s wrong with the media today.
