Authorities this morning are investigating multiple home and vehicle burglaries in Lakewood.
At least three homes and two vehicles were burglarized in the Chestnut area overnight, residents say.
Although the suspects did not make off with any vehicles due to not finding the keys, they made off with cash and other valuables found inside the homes and vehicles.
It is unknown at this time if these are the same suspects responsible for the burglaries in Jackson and Toms River.
The Lakewood Police Department and CSI are investigating.
It’s time that the police get to the bottom of these burglaries. There are too many happening and the police are not doing anything. First they ness up your house with black powder to take fingerprints, then when you ask when will you get results , you’re told it can take 6 months! C’mon! Really??
