Authorities are investigating multiple burglaries that occurred overnight in Toms River while the homeowners slept.
In one incident, a vehicle was stolen from the driveway, and in another incident, the burglars ransacked the home and made off with cash and jewelry. The value was over $100,000, police said.
In another incident, a window was broken, and the homeowner was awoken. He flicked on the lights and the burglar fled.
Police believe all incidents may be connected.
This comes just days after an armed robbery in the Township.
