AUDIO: IRS scammer’s threatening message left on a voicemail in Lakewood

The following threatening message, a scam, was left on a Lakewood resident’s voicemail this past Friday.

Over the past week, many residents reported TLS they received similar messages and suspicious calls.

i feel like we go through this all the time. THE IRS DOESNT MAKE PHONE CALLS. THEY MAIL LETTERS

“Working” hours? Business hours!

“Local cops”? – how about local law enforcement?

Of scam do it right? Perhaps they need a professional consultant

They not only leave voicemail they send threatening text messages also. I received one yesterday.

Everyone should know that the IRS will NEVER contact you by phone to begin an audit or any other process!
