Apple will give iPhone 4 users a free case for their smartphones to help them with antenna and reception problems, even though those issues have been reported by just a fraction of the phone’s users, CEO Steve Jobs said today during a press conference the company called at its headquarters to discuss ongoing issues with the smartphone.
Users who buy the new version of the iPhone by Sept. 30 will be able to sign up on the Apple website to receive a free case — or “bumper” — starting late next week. Users who already bought bumpers will receive refunds, he said. “And if you’re still not happy, before or after you get a free case you can bring your iPhone 4 back undamaged within 30 days for a full refund.” PC World
Yeah, that’s gonna do it! Fix the antenna problem and you do not have to give out “candy” to appease your customers.
Let me add to my previous post. There is no evidence that the case actually “fixes” the problem so TLS got it wrong. They merely trying to keep customers happy until they find a patch or update to really fix the problem. Well, if you are as big as Apple, then you can get away with it!

& no problem with my I phone 4! 3 million units sold in one week. If they were bad don’t you think people would return them. They are not!!!

Went to Freehold Mall today and had to wait for over an hour for an appointment. You can make an appointment on your computer from home before you head out to the mall. Volume was nuts n the store, expect a wait. They did resolve my problem.
Just stick with the good old yeshivish blackberry, trusted and tested by millions of bnei torah. No need to try all the newest Iphone gadgets its a waste of time,money and it even has hardware issues
