The following was submitted by the Gellis Sefer Torah campaign: Baruch Hashem, within just 48 hours of launching this campaign, we have successfully raised 95% of the funds required to purchase a beautiful Sefer Torah to be dedicated l’zecher nishmas Shmuel A’H ben Moishe Eliyahu.

The great achdus of klall yisroel has shined again amidst this dark tragedy. All those who have donated to this cause have contributed nechama to the Gellis family.

The Tallymwr Rov, Rov Baruch Yehuda Rabinowitz, will be guiding the whole process including the purchasing the Sefer, its tashmishei keddusha, the hacnosos sefer torah, and seuda. Rabbi Rabinowitz will decide on the timing of the hachnosas sefer torah, which may be shevuos or by the first yahrtzeit in Elul. The committee will keep you posted as we make progress, so that you will be able to be a part of the simcha.
