A motor vehicle crash in Jackson Township Friday night left an adult and two juveniles injured after they were struck by a vehicle while crossing the street.

According to the Jackson Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 8:50 p.m. to the area of Manhattan Street near Beam Avenue for a report of a car versus pedestrian crash.

Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2004 Volvo sedan struck one adult and two juveniles as they were attempting to cross Manhattan Street.

All three victims were transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions were not immediately disclosed.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Jackson Police Traffic Safety Unit.
