It’s a clear sky over Lakewood Sunday evening after a devastating storm lefts thousands of Lakewood families reeling from the aftermath of Irens’s fury.

Over 5,000 remain without power in Lakewood and dozens of homes are still flooded after heavy rains and strong winds pounded the region in a historic storm.

From when the storm hit, Chaveirim, LCSW, Hatzolah, Bikur Cholim and other volunteer organizations worked around the clock running from call to call assisting residents with flooded basements, residents with medical conditions and many other urgent calls.
