4 Juveniles Arrested for Burglarizing, Vandalizing Deal Yeshivah

ocean twpFour Ocean Township juveniles were arrested for breaking into and vandalizing the Deal Yeshivah, the Ocean Township Police Department tells TLS.

Officers from the Township of Ocean Police Department responded on Shabbos to the Deal Yeshiva School located at 1515 Logan Road in reference to a fire alarm.

“When officers arrived, they discovered that the school had been burglarized and a fire extinguisher had been deployed by the intruders,” police say. “The extinguisher caused the fire alarm to be activated. An investigation revealed that four juveniles had entered the school through a window. Once inside, the juveniles defecated on school desks and set off the fire extinguisher.”

Witness saw the four youths running away from the school toward the Wanamassa Garden Apartment Complex.

“With the assistance of a K9 Unit from Avon Police Department, the four youths were located in the apartment complex and taken into custody,” police said.

The four teenagers were charged with burglary and criminal mischief. All four were turned over to the custody of their guardians and will appear at a family court hearing at a later date.” [TLS]

  1. The Deal Yeshiva closed up shop about five years ago and the building is being rented to a different school, I think “The Yeshiva at the Shore”.
