By: L. Halevi. Rabbi Paysach Krohn, the popular speaker and Magid is well known for his stories and inspiration, good humor and his oratory command of virtually every subject he tackles.
The video we present to you today is not so characteristic of Rabbi Krohn, yet his passion for the topic is genuine and authentic, and with it will launch a vital campaign to make a difference in the lives of thousands – both on the receiving end as well as on the giving end.
Today is the launch of the 36 hour Tomchei Shabbos “Million Dollar Day of Giving” campaign, a fundraiser that must raise the $1 Million dollars necessary to feed over 1,00 Mishpachos in Lakewood for the upcoming Yomim Tovim.
Upon learning the details of the Tomchei Shabbos Tishrei operation, Rabbi Krohn was so impressed and taken aback by its magnitude and enormousness that he took a few moments out of his busy schedule to talk to the wonderful citizens of Lakewood about the importance of supporting the “Million Dollar campaign”. This campaign is a all or nothing campaign, so not reaching the goal is simply not an option. The question is only which donors will be the ones to partake in this phenomenal zechus and be a part of the success of this day and a half of giving.
Please take a moment to view the video, share it with your friends and family and take its message to heart, so that our friends, neigbors and community members in need can truly be taken care of in a dignified way as they deserve, and you can go on to multiply your own Simchas Yom Tov knowing that you didn’t sit idly by as others in the community rolled up their sleeves to make it happen!
Visit www.Triple4Tomchei.org or call the 24/6, automated campaign hotline at 732-943-1900 to do your part to ensure Simchas Yom Tov for ALL Lakewood area residents!
What an opportunity to be zoche badin by helping our friends and neighbors! Tomchei Shabbos is The Kuppa of our city and we must all take responsibility for the campaign success. Kudos to Rav YY Trainer and Rabbi Krohn along with everyone behind the scenes that makes tomchei Shabbos operate all year long.
