  1. CONGRATS!
Wow! What a beautiful thing to see. Two Orthodox young men giving of their time and of themselves to volunteer as firefighters.
It’s great to see people from the Orthodox community stepping up to the plate like this.
Might I also add, they dont look too bad in uniform : )

  2. Lakewood also received 2 other new firefighters Tim Millheiser of rescue company #2 and Gabriel Iannarone of hook and ladder #1.

Congradulation to all of these 4 outstanding men and to Yehuda Beer for getting top score of the class award.

Check out LVFD newly launched website at Lakewoodnjvolunteerfd.org

If anyone is interested In joining the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Dept. write a letter to the Company of your choice and we will send you a application. Among our newest recruits are 2 more Frum individuals Uri Halle of Junior Hose #3 and David Wolf of Rescue #2 they will be starting academy in January. Good Luck.

  3. Congratulations! It’s always good to see new volunteers complete their training.

However, I hope in the future the scoop will make the effort to post the graduation of ALL members of the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department and not just Frum members. The FD in Lakewood is made up of many dedicated members from all walks of life, ethnic and religious backgrounds and they ALL deserve credit for the many hours of training they completed.

    Thank you in advance.

  4. It may be a shailo of putting yourself in unnecessary sakono. Im sure a competent poisek was consulted, I wonder what he based his heter on.

  5. Why don’t you stop asking whether or not they should do this. If your house was burning C”V wouldn’t you want one your own there helping. At least they have the guts to do this! And they all watch each other’s backs, it’s a beautiful brotherhood, through thick and thin!

  6. to # 12 if u were 2 go out there it wud b putting urself in unnecessary sakono but w the right training its not its like telling a roofer he shud get a heter 2 go on the roof 2 fix it bec hes putting himself in unnecessary sakono
