18-Year-Old Brick Man Killed In Wall Township Crash

An 18-year-old Brick man was killed early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Squankum Allenwood Road in Wall Township, officials say.

Emergency services responded to the area at approximately 5:36 a.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle leaving the roadway.

Responding personnel located a gray 2006 Honda Civic in a wooded area off the westbound lane of Squankum Allenwood Road. The vehicle sustained extensive damage.

The driver and sole occupant, an 18-year-old male from Brick, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

Members of the South Wall Fire Department, Glendola Fire Department, Monmouth County EMS, Hackensack Paramedics, and the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office assisted at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by Wall Township Police Lt. Andrew Baldino and Ptl. Joshua Wheeler. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information is asked to contact the Wall Township Police Department at 732-449-4800.

Horrible tragedy!! “18 year old man” is just a teenager with his whole life ahead of him. I’m sure there’s a family mourning the loss of their child and sibling. RIP. May Gd grant them strength and comfort in this difficult time.
