Runaway Horses: “We’re Just Searching for Affordable Housing; The Stables in Howell Are Way Too Expensive!”
Two horses spotted galloping down route 9 in Howell NJ on Sunday insist that they are not fugitives and that they are not looking to cause any trouble.
“We’re just searching for affordable horse accommodations,” the older and taller of the two horses told reporters on Sunday. “Right now, we’re paying through the noses for our current accommodations in Howell, and that doesn’t even cover the costs of the grass and hay that we consume, if you can even call that hay; tastes more like stale straw to me! Yuk!”
“Truthfully, we wouldn’t mind some oats or some corn every once in a while,” the younger of the two horses said, “a little bit of meal variety wouldn’t hurt… At an affordable price, of course…..”
The older horse then went on to make an urgent plea to TLS concerning the photo and the video of the galloping equines that was posted on the TLS website on Sunday.
“I have a tradition passed down from my elter zaide, Reb Ferdele Soosburg A”H, never to allow photos of myself to be taken,” the horse said. “Hence, I would appreciate it if both the photo and the video would be taken down, so that the two of us horses can daven on the high holy days with a clean conscience. Thank you.”
The horses concluded the interview by requesting that anyone who has information about affordable horse accommodations contact them immediately via Horse-Mail or instant messaging.
“We’re not looking for the most luxurious stables or for fancy gourmet hay,” the older horse said, “just a simple affordable stable that is tidy and well maintained, and some fresh hay for meal consumption… – and maybe a little bit of oats and corn every once in a while… – that’s all! Thank you.”
