Firefighters are a battling house fire on Vermont Ave. At least one person is being treated for smoke inhalation.
UPDATE: The Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention says preliminary findings indicate that the fire was accidental in nature and is believed to have originated from a cooking fire that extended to the walls and cabinets within the kitchen area of the home.
