BMG Newcomer Complaining About Chavrusah Tumult’s Massive Crowd Size
“There Are Way Too Many People For Me to Choose From!” He Gripes
A BMG newcomer, who observed the chavrusah tumult in BMG this morning, complained that the crowd size “is overwhelming” and that there are “way too many people for me to choose chavrusas from!”
“How in the world am I supposed to choose chavrusas from a crowd size of this magnitude?!” he griped. “I apologize to all my potential chavrusas, but I’m going home now! Call me when the crowd size dwindles down to 10 or 15 people, and I’ll hop on back over here. And don’t forget to take down my telephone number. Thanx.”
However, before departing, the BMG newcomer spotted a charusa tumuler about a half block down the road who was frantically searching for a second seder chavrusah.
“Wait a minute!” the newcomer said, “I recognize that fellow from the early minyan at Zichron Moshe. Er ken goot lernin, so they say! Let me mark him down as a possible chavrusah. Hopefully he’ll still be available when I return.”
“Oye, it’s crowded here!” the newcomer added with a sigh, “I feel faint. I wish i had some smelling salt. Anybody got some smelling salt?! No? Hmm. How about an old, rotten piece of fish?! That will do.”
Tumult should be at the end of zman when ppl are already burnt out instead of having all that stress and time at the beginning when everyone is still fresh. (I believe Tiferes Elimelech already does this)
that wont work for the thausand new studentd ( i dont belive tferes elimelech has even 2 new ones
So do somany others.
I’m looking for a chaveusa to learn first seder in Bais Ahron, Masechtas Zavim. I’m standing on the steps to the Yoshon.
Hang on. Give me a chance. I’m stuck in traffic on Rt 80 in Pennsylvania, on my way to Lakewood from Detroit.
The most beautiful sight. We are so lucky to live in Lakewood!
Now which boy will be a good shidduch for my daughter?
