Former longtime Lakewood Board of Education attorney, Michael Inzelbuch, has been rehired as the Board Attorney.

The announcement came moments ago at the Board of Education meeting.

  1. @grammi Firstly at least spell check. Secondly, How is it terrible? He is an attorney that is passionate about education and puts his money where his mouth is.

  2. What happens to his special needs clients who he is in middle of fighting for their out of district placement?? Isn’t it a conflict of interest?

  3. Just curious why they did not hire Aaron Arthur Lang Esquire who brought the suit against the state on his own time to straighten out Lakewood school funding

  4. If you listen to the resolutions, you will hear that the previous law firm, represented by Marc Zitomer, will be staying on with the District in a consultant position. He wasn’t at the meeting last night because that would have put undue pressure on the board members to choose him, which is unfair.

  5. I always say, if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. So who from the Public School community chose to apply for the vacancy on the BOE? I guess we’ll find out Monday night. They didn’t put up a candidate the last time there was a vacancy. I guess they just like to complain. Hey, some people are like that. What a shame.

  6. If Mr.Inzelbuch chooses the position of board attorney, will he also hold his prior positions with special education for the public schools? Does that entitle him to a NJ pension? Will he draw more than one salary? What is the cost?

Why does the district need Mr.Zitomer as a consultant? What are his fees?
