  1. You need to have a way to get on to Rte 9 (or whichever street you want) in the direction you need to go. For example, if you are not allowed to make a left on to Rt 9 south from Ford Ave, how is the driver supposed to get on to Rt 9 south? There are no other cross streets to do it. As opposed to Rt 9/Madison Ave in town, where the cross streets let you turn around and make that turn one block later.

  2. How about people listen to the traffic laws we already have? Just this morning someone drove into the left turn lane by Miller and Hope then made a right. There was a long line of cars waiting to make a right he should not have bean wondring which is the right lane

  3. who do we contact to get the light on first and clifton to be in sync with the one on second and rthe one on rte 88 so traffic can flow out of first st.? the light is green but due to traffic on clifton going south theres room for 1 car per light to turn left (go south) on clifton.or turn right and go south from the other side of clifton. its a real zoo . it needs a dont b;lock the box sign with points if you do to clean it up.

  4. You need to be able to get on to streets like the 9 (Howell).
There are to many “no turn on red”. Even in the middle of the night. And when on coming traffic has a left green.
    To many street light.
    To many cars.
    To many houses.
    To many people.

  5. What’s the point? Everybody ignores them anyway. My suggestion is Lakewood hire a full-time traffic agent. Put him at 5th & Madison. Every violator gets a summons. His monthly salary would be covered in a week!

  6. @lkwdlady why can’t you make the left turn from Roosevelt Ave? Wouldn’t that be easier because there is no oncoming traffic to negotiate as well.

  7. Sherwood drive is ridiculous. There is no way to get in or out without backing up the whole intersection by prospect and route 9. They should at least make right turns only coming it if Sherwood and no left turns into Sherwood going south on route 9. Or at least make a box that u can’t block so people can go in and out of Sherwood without causing traffic. It’s such a dumb street they should just reroute it to not be a dead end. And spruce should not have left turns between 7 and 7. And where’s is the light they planned for Massachusetts and prospect for 2018????
