The following is a message from the LCSW: The LCSW would like to remind the Lakewood Community of a few simple safety tips ahead of Yom Tov. Should you be leaving town for Yom Tov, 1) Try and leave some lights on inside your home and to light up the outside of your property as well. 2) Make sure to secure all windows and doors/sliding doors. 3) Have a neighbor collect the mail for you or place it on hold. 4) Have your garbage cans brought in by a neighbor if possible. 5) Make sure to put away any strollers, bicycles or toys laying around outside. 6) When packing up your vehicle to leave, try and do it discreetly.

LCSW will have additional and stepped up patrols around town throughout Yom Tov.

Should you witness any suspicious activity do not hesitate to notify the Lakewood Police at 732-363-0200 or LCSW at 732 367 1212. Any emergencies should always be called in to Police immediately.
