[Video Preview] The third of the highly successful Yizkereim: Remember Them documentary series, Pikuach Nefesh is now available to shuls and communities for the Three Weeks. Last year Yizkereim presented Shanghai Miracle and Sh’eiris Hapleitah in over 170 venues around the globe.
This year, Pikuach Nefesh is already registered in shuls around the world, including the United States, Canada, Israel, Australia, England and Chile.
Pikuach Nefesh presents the dramatic and previously neglected stories of two of Klal Yisrael’s great heroes, Rav Michoel Ber Weissmandl of Nitra and Rav Shlomo Schonfeld of the Kindertransport, individuals who through great personal sacrifice succeeded in saving thousands of neshamos from the inferno of the Holocaust. Hopefully, these inspirational accounts of Kiddush HaShem will arouse greater adherence to mitzvoth and help strengthen emunah – goals particularly relevant to the Three Weeks – Bein Hametzarim period.
Yizkereim is a historic initiative jointly sponsored by Torah Umesorah’s Zechor Yemos Olam and the Rabbi Leib Geliebter Memorial Foundation. Together, they have produced an acclaimed series of inspiring films that document facts of the Holocaust not previously highlighted, stories of spiritual survival and resistance.
To register, RSVP by emailing [email protected] or call Mrs. Leah Sugarman at 845-356-2961 x 4321.
Once you have registered, we will send you the DVD and links to collateral material, including fill-in posters and fliers to advertise the event.
