Yeshivah Bachur Wakes to Find Burglars in Dormitory Room; Cash, Electronics and Jewelry Stolen

A Bachur sleeping in his dormitory room yesterday afternoon was woken by the sound of two burglars in his room, the Bachur told LCSW and Police.

The Bachur states that at about 3:10 PM on the first day of Shvuos he woke up to noises, and was shocked to find two men in his room, who upon spotting him fled the dormitory.

The Bachur stated that the men were speaking in what he believes was Spanish.

It was later discovered that the men had rummaged through an unoccupied room in the dormitory prior. They made away with some cash, an iPod, cufflinks valued at about $150 and a watch valued at about $400.

CIU responded for the investigation as well. [TLS-46]
