[VIDEO MARC SALEM – VIDEO AVRAHAM FRIED – VIDEO MAYOR MILLER] Marc Salem, a world renowed ‘Mentalist’, or mind reader, was the feature act at this year’s Misameach Mid-Winter party for hundreds of Cholim in Lakewood. Marc Salem hasbeen a student of the human mind for over 30 years.
As an academic he holds advanced degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and New York University, and has been on faculty of several major universities for close to two decades. He is considered one of the world’s foremost authorities on non-verbal communication. How the mind creates reality and meaning has been his major focus. As a researcher, Professor Salem has traveled the globe exploring the mind and its potential. He was a director of research at Sesame Street studying the development and nature of the mental process. As an entertainer 
Marc has performed around the world, astounding and entertaining millions.
Also performing at the event, was renowned singer Avraham Fried, Dovid Stein and Nachas.
During the event, Mayor Menashe Miller also made a brief appearence to present a plaque to the Misameach volunteers. On behalf of the Township, the Mayor thanked the director and volunteers for their dedication to the many families throughout Lakewood.
The event, which took place at the Bais Yaakov hall, began with a buffet dinner at about 4:00 PM. While enjoying dinner and then cotton candy and ice cones for desert, the children heard from Nachas, and Dovid Stein before the fascinating Marc Salem show, and followed by an exciting show from ‘The Twins From France’. Following the shows, the children enjoyed a concert from Avraham Fried, which was followed by a Kumzitz for the families. The event concluded about 9PM. TLS.

What is truly outstanding, and humbling, may I add, is the selflessness of Misameach volunteers.
Lipa you did it again!!! I can’t get over how you had a dream just a few years ago of having a 24/7 cheer up sqaud to sevice the lakewood oilem & went ahead & got together a small group & didn’t give up because of any opsticales & today thriving with over 150 members!!!! Hashem should bentch you with continues Hatzlacha in all your work & a zivug hugun bikroiv mamesh!!!!!

I was there. It was an amazing party. Marc was breathtaking – the Twins from France were amazing & Avrem’l was, simpla mesmerizingly fantastic. Sound by the superbly talented Yossi Shtendig was super !! The band, w/ Meyer Rosenbaum was excellent. Thanx Lipa, great job. Dudi.

What’s mayor miller saying?? U can hear him!
The Mayor basically thanked Lipa and volunteers and presented a plaque to the organization. But my favorite part is toward the end when Avrohom Fried hands Menashe the mic and asks him if he wants to sing. Menashe politely hands him the mic back and says “not only do I sing off-key but I even speak off-key”! That got the crowd laughing.
Why didnt they have a list of names for the Mayor instead of the way it was done? (See video)
