Police are looking for a man who was involved in a hit and run MVA this morning, in a vehicle initially reported stolen. Sources say a woman told police she left her keys in her vehicle while it was parked in the Shop Rite parking lot and when she came out, her vehicle was gone. Moments later, the vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident on 14th Street and Forest Avenue.
Hatzolah and Police responded to the scene, but the suspect fled. There victim was uninjured.
The suspect’s vehicle was located minutes later, but the suspect was gone.
However, with CIU on their way, the woman who owned the vehicle, changed her story.
The woman apparently then told authoritties her vehicle was not stolen, but rather it was her brother who ‘stole’ the vehicle.
The suspect wanted for the hit and run is described as a Hispanic male wearing a red cap. TLS-CCP/TLS-MK.
Is that what all the sirens are in the south-lake neighborhood?
Gee how unusual for this town, a Hispanic male getting into an accident and fleeing.
I understand Hatzala arrived. Is everyone ok? Anyone hurt?
Good detailed description there. Hispanic male wearing red cap. That will help finding him
Too much paperwork to do if they find him.
