Ms. Wilson, a Lakewood resident whose home phone number is just one digit off from Bais Faiga’s emergency/snow number, wants to remind parents to make sure they have the correct number this year, so she doesn’t lose sleep again.
Ms. Wilson tells TLS that every time it snows, she receives dozens of calls at all hours of the night, as parents confuse her phone number with Bais Faiga’s.
When we wrote about it last year, some readers made some suggestions, but they were unrealistic, Ms. Wilson said.
“Sorry, I can’t change my phone number and I can’t turn the ringer off like some of the readers requested.”
Many calls were from children, Ms. Wilson says.
Ms. Wilson requests that parents make the necessary changes to reflect the school’s correct phone number, which is 732-806-8141.
She added, “And remind the parents not to allow the kids to be making this phone calls late at night or very very early in the morning.”
The school last year told TLS they were sending out a letter to the parents in hopes of correcting the issue.

It is really not right that she get bombarded by all these calls. I think the poster above had an excellent idea. BAis faigs should change the number to something like 732-BIGSNOW or something easy to remember.
why can’t all the schools post the info here on tls or send out mass texts like other schools do? I realize not everyone has internet at home but just about everyone has texting. It would save the hassle of having to call hotline numbers and would certainly take care of misdials.

Am I missing something! There are 7 numbers (besides the area code 732) קומט אוס there are 14 phone numbers, one number off, so why is everybody calling and Bothering Ms. Wilson!!!
Easy fix- BF should just change their number.

Reminds me of the guy whose phone # was one digit off from a hotel. Tired of guests calling him and the hotels refusal to remedy the problem he started to randomly make “reservations” for the callers. In one week the hotel changed its #.
Bais Faigah can easily change there number. It’s is hard for the individual to do so, because they have friends and family, and it is impossible to do so. Bais Faigah can change the number and send out a flyer, problem solved
BF should not b switching their # you’ll just have people dialing by mistake someone else how about running a twitter? Email? An ext.of the school or easy # to remember will not help! Or how about making the # similar to the public works!!
