A woman seen on camera today stealing a Laundry Time customer’s cell phone was arrested after she returned to the laundry store, Laundry Time’s proprietor tells TLS.
The alleged thief was seen on security camera stealing the phone from another customer doing laundry, and then fled in a vehicle.
Police were called, and while investigating the incident the alleged thief returned to the place to retrieve her clothing, the proprietor says.
After recognizing the alleged thief, the victim immediately notified police that she had returned and police confronted her.
But despite being told she was caught on camera, she denied the theft claims, and was taken into custody, the owner says.
