Witnessed Drug Transaction leads Police to Loaded Gun, Drugs & Cash

lpd tlsThe Lakewood Police Street Crimes Unit conducting a surveillance operation landed four people in custody, and took a loaded weapon and drugs off the streets, police confirm to TLS.

During the operation, briefly reported about at the time, a drug transaction was observed between occupants of a BMW and Acura parked on Cedarbridge Avenue last week, which led to detectives approaching and investigating.

During the investigation, one of the suspects was found in possession of a quantity of Crack Cocaine and a loaded handgun. Also recovered during a search of the persons and vehicles involved, was a quantity of Marijuana and Heroin. A quantity of US Currency was also seized for later forfeiture.

As a result, the following individuals were arrested and charged as below:

Racole Tyleek Muldrow, 31 y.o. , Lakewood:

Possession of CDS Cocaine
Possession of CDS Heroin
Distribution of CDS Heroin
Distribution of CDS Heroin within 500 feet of Public Park
Unlawful Possession of a Weapon
Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose
Possession of a Weapon by Certain Person
Possession of Weapon During the Commission of a CDS Distribution

Bail was set at $500,000 cash only by Superior Court Judge Honorable

Robert Mercadante, 22 y.o. Toms River:

Loitering for CDS
Possession of CDS Marijuana

No Bail

Jack Howard Bomar, 27 y.o., Toms River:

Loitering for CDS
Possession of CDS Heroin

No Bail

Morgan Catherine McDuffie, 25 y.o., Whiting:

Loitering for CDS

No Bail.
