  1. They should ban shoplifting already. Our politicians are waiting precious time, while our local stores remain unsafe as people continue to shoplift.

Hopefully when they ban shoplifting, and make it illegal, the criminals will stop shoplifting, just like they’ll stop using guns when we finally ban guns.

  2. to #4 – not excessive..they were fleeing the scene and the police were chasing them.
to #1 Really…banning shoplifting?? How do you do that…an officer in every aisle of a store??

  3. Hey Not protocol, that’s a great idea, it would help the unemployment in the state and the Democrats could make them government employees and impose a tax to pay for them.

  4. You mean the cops left the crosswalks to stop a shoplifter with guns? Lots of real dangerous stuff going on there, no? In the meantime…on the other side of town…drugs, muggings, stolen vehicles…

  5. Yid, you have to have your own Blog with membership log-in only. As demonstrated by “Not Protocol”, people just don’t get your satire!

  6. FYI I once saw Cops respond to a shop lifting with shotguns. I was a little nonplussed until I fOund out that a cop had recently been stabbed responding to a routine shopliftifting call and another had been shot at. Routine calls can turn deadly in a second.

  7. Most hoplifters are drug addicts looking to get stuff for later resale. Where there is drugs , there are guns to protect them from those who would like to steal their drugs …..

  8. No its not excessive for them to draw there guns anywhere when pulling over anyone .. They can’t take no chances too many people have guns and are not afraid to shoot anybody even the police, they have to be very careful anyone can have a gun in there car. or anywhere on them .Sad But True !!!
