Wisniewski Issues 20 Subpoenas as Part of Investigation into George Washington Bridge Lane Closings & Abuse of Government Power Concerns

wisniewskiAssembly Select Committee on Investigations Chairman John Wisniewski on Thursday announced he has issued 20 subpoenas as part of the investigation into the decision to close access lanes to the George Washington Bridge and other matters raising concerns about the abuse of government power.‎

“This is the next logical step in our investigation into this threat to public safety and abuse of government power,” said Wisniewski (D-Middlesex). “We have many unanswered questions about what happened here, who was involved and why. I am confident these subpoenas will shed more light on this situation and I look forward to cooperation from all parties.” [TLS‎‎]
