UPDATED: A Winter Storm Watch will be in effect from Thursday evening through late Thursday night, the National Weather Service says. The Storm Watch is for eastern and southern New Jersey.
The area could see snow accumulations of 3 to 4 inches, according to the NWS forecast.
Rain will mix with snow Thursday afternoon and evening before changing over to all snow Thursday night. The snow could fall heavily for a few hours during the late afternoon or evening, the NWS says.
UPDATE: As reported in our News Alerts, the Winter Storm Watch has been cancelled, but there is still a chance of snow with accumulation of about an inch.
More bad weather….
In which part of NJ is lakewood?
Southern? Central? Northern?
# 2 that would be Central New Jersey.
all of the above
Lakewood is actually considered closer to South Jersey than Central Jersey, just take a quick look at a map. All you snow plow kvetchers, dust off your complaint books and get ready to start complaining 😉
The headline says 2-4 the story says 3-4 what is it. One inch makes a big difference in plowing Lakewood.
Bring it on ! Looking fwd
When is starts snowing, its free delivery from kosher taco. Bring on the snow. 732 534 5511
#2,
Lakewood is in NJ? I never chapped.
Very excited:):) hope it for real this time
Lakewoood is most commenly referred to as South Central.
Yum! Good food and snow!
yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please do not complain if the schools have a delayed opening.
Safety First!
(of both students and all people on the roads!)
so…is lakewood going to get snow????
If it snows how about getting your cars off the roads so the plows can get through and do a good job. Plows cannot do a good job while trying to maneuver around all the cars on the streets. No room on your driveway? Then park the cars on your lawn.
dont mind the snow as long as it does not come with power outages!!!
Please support Chaveirim ! You’ll need them.
I signed up on http://www.lakewoodalert.com now I get alerts from bais faigif there is playgroup in the morning. Thank you, lakewoodalert.com
if you live in Raintree then you are North Jersey if you live in the Old City then you r Central Jersey and if you live in Elmwood chestnut or Chesterfield then you are south jersey
Also my friend if you live in a development no room in driveway street or the lawn where do you park then?
That picture of a plow actually plowing could not have been taken in Lakewood….Then again, the plow is raised so maybe it was!
more like 2-4 snowflakes! this storm will have a very sharp cutoff and almost all the models are showing it missing us entirely. don’t take out the shovels just yet.
Where can I buy a good shovel?
Has not been plowed yet
Can’t wait!! Although I do feel bad for all the old people, sick people, homebound people, etc.
I know first hand that its really not easy for them when it snows.
Just knowing that it’ll take longer for EMS to arrive in case of an emergency ch”v gives those seniors/sick/immobile a lot of heartache.
(Forget about the thought of power outages, that gives them a heart attack ch”v)
Lets think about other people. Everything isn’t just about ourselves.
Just thinking about the impending storm…..Westgate has already lost power!!
When will JCPL come and fix it??
snow is an incentive for evreyone to dress tzniusdig!! lets try and not be nichshal in this inyan and lets hear the shofar shel moshiach, Amen!!
